Frequently Asked Questions
Dog Training • Pet Sitting • Puppy Support
1. What types of dog training do you offer?
We offer basic obedience, puppy training, behavior foundation work, leash skills, impulse control, and real-life manners. We also teach essential cues like WAIT, DROP-IT, LEAVE-IT, WATCH ME, STAY, and self-soothing routines.
2. Do you train the owners too?
Yes — absolutely!
Training is a partnership. Dogs learn faster when humans understand the structure, cues, and consistency needed. We teach both the dog and the human to create long-term success.
3. What age can my dog start training?
Training can begin as early as 8 weeks old. Early training helps prevent behavior problems and builds confidence and healthy habits from the start.
4. Do you offer in-home training?
Yes. We come to your home where your dog is most comfortable, and where behavior patterns naturally happen. This allows us to address real-life situations in real time.
5. Do you use positive reinforcement?
Yes, we use calm, clear communication, structure, and reward-based training. We focus on capturing good behavior, preventing unwanted habits, and guiding the dog instead of punishing them.
6. What training tools do you use?
We use:
Treats and rewards
Tethers
Leashes and harnesses
Body-language cues
Visual signals (for deaf or visual learners)
Calm energy and structured routines
No harsh tools or intimidation.
7. How long does it take to see results?
Many owners see improvement after the first session, but long-term results depend on consistency. Every dog learns at a different pace, and ongoing practice at home is essential.
8. Do you guarantee results?
No ethical trainer can guarantee specific results. Behavior depends on the dog, environment, and the owner’s follow-through.
But we do guarantee committed support, guidance, structure, and education to help you succeed.
9. What is tethering and why do you use it?
Tethering is a safe training tool used to prevent unwanted behaviors, teach calmness, and help puppies learn to self-soothe. It keeps the puppy near you and reduces overstimulation or destructive habits.
10. Do you offer pet sitting?
Yes! We offer pet sitting, drop-ins, feeding, walks, enrichment, and medication administration (non-injectable). Your pet receives loving, structured care while you’re away.
11. Can you handle pets with anxiety?
Yes. We specialize in working with anxious or overstimulated pets using calm structure, routine, and low-stress handling. We ask that all behavior history be shared before booking.
12. How do you handle emergencies during pet sitting?
If an emergency occurs, we contact you immediately and take your pet to your preferred veterinarian or the nearest emergency clinic. The owner is responsible for all medical costs.
